ABOUT JACOB
Jacob is a digital artist that uses the medium to explore themes of the human condition through science fiction and contemporary vignette. He has worked with teams to produce illustrations for children's books, as well as providing artistic renders of food and ingredients for health foundations for public use and distribution.Â
Born March 10, 1997 in Beaumont, TX he was brought into the talented art program where his skills could be honed and encouraged. His typical childhood led him to seek inspiration in nature, fictional stories, and documentaries of far off places that grew his love for adventure.
As a visual artist he devotes himself to his ideas and tries to show the positives and shortcomings of humankind to all, with a big picture approach that provides a unique perspective that fascinates. His existential worldview makes him rise to make people consider their place in the world and how it can be challenged for the better. While a lot of media focuses on escapism, he chooses to use his work to make us appreciate our reality. We often are dissatisfied with our place in the universe, but it is by seeing these dreamlike worlds and unique characters that we are able to see that there is always a door left open for us. By communicating with one another and building bridges instead of barriers we are making our problems seem smaller by focusing on the good around us.
